This year too, a dispute has started before the NEET UG result has been released. Many candidates have filed a complaint about not getting adequate facilities in NEET UG Examination Center. MP High Court and Madras High Court Has ordered a ban on the NEET UG results of some centers.

NEET UG Answer Key 2025: When will NEET UG 2025 come to the answer?

The NEET UG 2025 final answer is usually released a few hours before the result or with the result. The provisional answer of NEET UG 2025 is going to be released soon. Candidates will be given an opportunity to register an objection to NEET UG Provisional Answer. Then the final answer will be prepared on the basis of that. When will NEET UG Result 2025 come?

The result of NEET UG 2025 is likely to be declared on 14 June 2025. However, the result date may change due to some court cases (eg Madhya Pradesh High Court demanding re-test at Indore and Ujjain centers). More than 22 lakh candidates are waiting for NEET UG Result 2025. Merit list, cut-offs and scorecards will also be released along with NEET UG 2025 results. Medical entrance examination i.e. NEET UG exam results will also be released on neet.nta.nic.in.

Where and how to check NEET UG Result?

After the release of NEET UG result, you will be able to check it through the steps written below-

• To check the NEET UG 2025 result, you have to visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in or exam.nta.ac.in/neet.
• Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Result” or “Scorecard” link on the homepage.
• Enter your details: Application number, date of birth and security pin.
• The result will be seen on the screen, which will have details of your marks, rank and cut-off.
• Download the scorecard and take out the printout.

How many numbers are required to pass in NEET UG?

The marks required to pass in NEET UG 2025 depend on the cut-off, which is fixed on the basis of percentile. The NEET UG exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks. The trends of previous years and the exam is difficult this year, there is some expectation of cut-offs. According to estimates:

General category: 50th percentile, ie about 162–170 marks (out of 720).

SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile means about 127-135 marks.

General-PWD: 45th percentile means about 145–150 marks.

When will NEET UG 2025 counseling be held?

After NEET UG Result 2025, counseling will start from July 2025. State Governments will counseling for 15% of All India Kota (AIQ) MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) and 85% State Kota. On the basis of your score, college can make a list of possible college using Predicter Tools. If you feel that your rank is low, then be prepared for admission in state quota or private medical college.
