NEET UG Counseling 2025: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is important news for the candidates who have passed 2025. Whoever has passed this exam, has to participate in the most important phase counseling process. Through this process, you can get seats for medical and dental courses (MBBS and BDS). Two major quotas of NEET UG COUNSELING: All India and State Kota
NEET UG counseling is held in two main categories. You can see about it below.
All India Quota – AIQ: Under this quota, there is counseling for 15% MBBS/BDS seats across the country, which is operated by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
State Quota: Counseling is done by the concerned state government or authorities for the remaining 85% seats.
MCC NEET UG Counseling: Which seats include?
MCC counseling is conducted for the seats of the following medical and dental colleges. This includes the following.
15% MBBS and BDS seats under All India Kota
State seats with Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory
100% seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
100% MBBS seats of all AIIMS at all India level
100% seats of Zipmar at Puducherry/Karaikal
100% seats of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
85% state quota seats under Delhi University (DU)/IP University (VMMC/ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)
100% seats of Dental Faculty of Jamia Millia Islamia and 5% internal quota for students
15% IP quota seats of ESIC
Counseling process and further action
Counseling organized by MCC is completely online. After the seat allocation, it is mandatory for the selected candidates to report to confirm the admission to their allotted medical college. Like the previous year, this year also the counseling process will be held in two rounds, after which street vacancy rounds and special street vacancy rounds can also be held for the remaining vacancies.
