Ever since the American space agency NASA has planned to rebuild humans on the moon, the whole world is eyeing him. NASA’s Artemis Mission intends to make it possible. NASA wants its scientists to create a base on the moon this time and stay there for a long time. Many types of preparations and projects are underway for this. Now NASA has announced a plan to build a robot train flying on the surface of the moon. One blog post In the US Space Agency’s “Flexible Levitation on a track” project has been mentioned. The objective of this project is to provide robotic transport system to the astronauts reaching the moon. In a statement, NASA said that the transport system on the moon would be very important to operate the Permanent Moon Base in the 2030s.

According to the NDTV report, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory Robotics Expert Ethan Scaler said that we want to build a railway system first on the moon, which will offer reliable, autonomous and durable payload transportation on the moon. He said that in order to operate a durable moon base in the 2030s, long time a long time would be required.

The initial design of NASA suggests that the Float system will depend only on machines. Magnetic robots will reach the moon and trains will be fitted in them. Those trains will run at a speed of about 1.61 kmph. It is estimated that the moon -run vehicles will deliver 100 tonnes of material daily to the moon base.

The main objective of the project is to provide transportation services to the areas where Astronauts will be active. The Float System will be completely autonomous. This will work in the dusty and difficult environment of the moon. As needed, NASA will configure this system again. The special thing is that the Float System is being prepared in NASA’s jet propulsion laboratory (JPL). Currently, different parts of the system are being tested in California.
