Recently, NASA’s Perseverance Rover and the Zhurong Rover of China had indicated rivers and soaked sand dunes on Mars. The rover of China has found proof of these mounds joining together about four million years ago due to the cold. Perseverance Rover has indicated to make its way into the Jezero Crater of a fast flowing water stream. The findings published in Science Advances stated that Perseverance has discovered the largest river ever on Mars. It was more than 66 feet deep in some places. In the US, UTAH’s Brigham Young University, Jani Radebaugh, said that these findings are also revealing the possibility of getting important information about other planets’ surfaces.
The Zhurong Rover landed on Mars about two years ago. It has discovered water marks on the surface of Mars. There are also signs of sand dunes near this rover. There is a large amount of minerals in the dust on Mars and these minerals can pull water particles from the air. If this type of material covers the mounds of the rail, the changes in humidity with the season can pull the dust particles and leave it without becoming liquid again.
