Nasa launches pace satellite to study ocean atmosphere

The US space agency NASA has launched its latest satellite. Its name is Pace, which is fully mean- Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, Ocean Ecosystem (Plankton, aerosol, cloud, ocean ecosistum). As the name is revealed by the name, this satellite will gather the information about the oceans and the viomalas around the world, which are still hidden. Pace Satellite was launched by Alan Musk’s space company Spacex. The mission costs US $ 948 million (about 7866 crore rupees). Report According to, the Falcon rocket of Spacex launched the satellite. This satellite will stay 676 km above the Earth and study the Earth’s oceans and the atmosphere. This three -year mission will scan the globe through 2 scientific instruments every day.

Project Scientist Jeremy Wordel said that it is unprecedented to our planet. The observation of satellite will help scientists to understand the storms and other weather forecasts better. It will also be known what is the effect on our planet due to increasing temperature.

Even before the PACE mission, about two dozen NASA mean observations are exploiting the earth from satellite space. The pace mission will be different because it can give information about how pollutants and volcanoes are interacted with marine life such as atmospheric aerosol, algae and plankton. Overall, it can detect connections between harmful algae and pollutants.

It is also special that existing satellites can observe Earth in seven or eight colors, while pace satellite will explore our planet in 200 colors. This will help scientists to identify the types of algae types in the sea and the types of pollutants present in the air. Scientists hope that they will start getting data in a month or two.
