Mg Motor Launches Windsor Ev Pro, Range of More Than 440KM, Know Price, Features, Tata Motors

MG Motor, which has a large stake in the market of electric vehicles (EV), has launched a new version of its best selling Windsor EV. The special price for the first 8,000 customers of Windsor Ev Pro is about Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a big battery pack with increasing features compared to the standard version. Windsor Ev Pro has a 52.9 kwh battery pack. The company claims that this version gives a range of more than 440 km in single charge. However, it has an electric motor similar to the standard version of 136 HP power and 200 Nm torque. The new version has alloy wheels and ‘Adas’ badges on the tailgate. It has been brought in new colors like Aurora Silver, Celadon Blue and Glaze Red. Some changes have also been made in its cabin.

Its sales have exceeded 20,000 units. Its standard version is made available in three variants. Its prices are between about Rs 14 lakh to about Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). EV portfolio of Mg Motor includes ComeT EV, Windsor EV and ZS EV.

The manufacturing of this electric crossover is being done in the Halol factory of MG Motor in Gujarat. To fulfill its increasing demand, the company plans to increase the capacity of its factory. Tata Motors have the highest stake in EV market. On the battery of this electric crossover, the company is being given a warranty of eight years or 1,60,000 km. On Dussehra last year, the company started delivery to the customers of Windsor EV. It has LED lights connected to both front and rear. It has a sedan’s comfort and SUV -like space. This electric crossover competes with Mahindra’s XUV400 and Tata Motors’ Nexon EV. This is the first EV for which the option of battery as a service is available. With this option, the initial price of Windsor EV will be reduced.
