E Vitara will compete with Hyundai’s Creta Electric, Tata Motors’ Curvv Ev, Mg Motor’s ZS EV and Mahindra & Mahindra’s Be6. The range in single charge of this electric SUV can be about 500 kilometers. E Vitara can get options for two battery packs of 49 kwh and 61 kwh. Its 49 kwh battery variant can generate a maximum power of 142 bhp and peak torque of 189 Nm. E Vitara will have a 61 kwh battery variant 172 bhp power and 189 Nm peak torque.
This electric SUV has dual-tone interior with squeeze-off elements on the interior dashboard. It has a dual integrated screen, which acts as a display of the infotainment system and a digital driver. Maruti Suzuki plans to include six EV models in its portfolio in the coming years. The manufacturing of E Vitara will be specially designed for battery-powered electric vehicles on the HeartEct-E platform. It has two separate electric excels on the front and rear.
