Mahindra is currently on sale the leading brand of India in the D SUV segment with Scorpio Classic, Scorpione N, Thar Roxx and XUV700. The company wants to further dominate this segment with an updated XUV700 lifting that was spied on for the first time. The changes are immediately evident in the front. Let’s take a closer look.

In a recent video by Tamilmotors360, we can see the first (noticed) (noted) Mahindra XUV700 Mule Test Diselift with complete camouflage. Since there are initial test mules, we don’t see many changes in terms of design. This test mule still share most of the design elements and components with the current XUV700.

By the way, the current Mahindra XUV700 has remained unchanged since it was launched in August 2021. The company will not be expected to launch the XUV700 lifting in 2025, but it is likely that it does it in 2026. When it was launched in 2026, Mahindra could rename this vehicle at Xuv7xo, continuously with its Naming strategy.

As for the design changes, we can only see the reviews in the front, where Mahindra offers a new more daring grid. This new grid presents vertical slats that are more inclined than those seen with the current model. The lower grid seems the same, but it can be different under its camouflage.

The fog lights are not visible in this test mule, which could be removed or hidden under camouflage. The primary change that breaks out and is immediately visible are the new circular headlights. However, these seem to be Fararti Thar Roxx that Mahindra is temporarily using for this test mule as a improvised solution, while the final version will present dedicated headlights.

XUV700 LIFTING OR XUV7XO?

The design of the alloy wheel, the lateral silhouette and the rear lights are equal to the current model. This could change in the mules of future tests of XUV7XO or XUV700. There is also the possibility that Mahindra will change only the front design, keeping the lateral and rear design in a similar way to the current model. Like a small pinch and a fold.

We hope that there are more characteristics with the Mahindra XUV700 or XUV7XO lifting, including front and rear ventilated seats, a triple configuration on the screen on a dashboard such as XEV 9E, the rear Ottoman, digital key, the self -parking features, the Harman audio updated with the Dolby support and an IRVM with automatic bin, which is long late and a large higher.

The engines are likely to be the same: a 2.0 -liter turbo petrol (197 HP, 380 Nm) and a 2.2 -liter turbo diesel (up to 182 HP, 450 Nm). The 6 -speed manual automatic transmission and 6 -speed converter will continue to be on offer. There are interviews on Mahindra that develop hybrid electric cars with extension of the range, which may not be part of the XUV700 or XUV7XO lifting.
