While maintaining its position Boxy and vertical, Mahindra Bolero of the new generation has a more refined body style similar to Thar

Mahindra is working on the next generation Bolero, which has been identified several times in road tests. A big change is the transition from the scale frame to a monocoral multi-energy platform: new flexible architecture (NFA). Mahindra will reveal this new platform on August 15, 2025. The latest shots of new generation Bolero spy will provide a taste of potential updates. Take a look at the details.

New generation Bolero: what’s new?

Compared to the existing model that has trapezoidal projectors, Mahindra Bolero of the new generation obtains circular LED headlights. It seems similar to that of Thar and Roxx. The front band is now completely vertical, something that completes the Boxy profile of the SUV. The signature grid has parallel racing slats instead of the angled slats observed with the current model. Other salient moments include a corpulent and a shell hood. With the new generation Bolero, the security kit will receive an important update. It will include Adas, as highlighted by the espionage strokes. An ADA level 2 package is likely, something similar to that offered with XUV 3XO. Adas’s features may include a forward collision notice, starting notice, lane maintenance of assistance, car emergency braking and road signals recognition. The Adas Suite will be available with the main variants of the new generation Bolero.

In previous spy strokes, the lateral and rear profile of the new generation bolero were also revealed. The Boxy silhouette is more pronounced, with a flat roof, in most of the straight belt line and a mountain tailgate. The flared arches seem familiar, although small variations can be hidden under camouflage.

The alloy wheels look like 17 inches or 18 inches. You can see new Orvm with integrated turning point. These seem to have cameras and sensors, as part of the Adas ecosystem. In the rear, the new generation bolero continues with the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

Interior sprouted

While the interiors of the new generation Mahindra Bolero have not been revealed, some significant changes are likely. The main variations could obtain functionality such as the Touchscreen infotainment system, the group of digital tools, the rear air intakes, the USB charging ports and the controls mounted on a steering. The connectivity characteristics may also be introduced with the best variants.

With the Monocoque frame, the new generation bolero will guarantee more fluid races and reduced NVH levels. The security kit is likely to be updated with functionality such as 6-Airbag, rear view camera, speed notice system and tire pressure monitoring system. Overall comfort could be improved with functionality such as adjustable headrest and central rear armrest.

Performance

The new generation bolero could continue with the existing engine options. The current Bolero uses the Mhawk75 diesel engine, generating 75 HP and 210 Nm of torque. Bolero Neo has a 1.5 liter diesel engine that generates 100 CS and 260 Nm of torque. It is combined with a 5 -speed manual gearbox.

The NFA Monocoque platform to be used for diesel, petrol, hybrid and fully electric platforms of the new generation. Together with the new generation Bolero, the Bolero EV should also be launched in 2026. The new generation bolero is expected to be offered in the price range of RS 10 Lakh a RS 12 Lakh.
