Expected to be launched in India in the middle of 2026, Kia EV2 will take rivals such as Nexon EV, Tata Punch EV and Citroen Ec3
Kia is developing a strong range of beings for global markets, with the EV2 that is one of these. After the version of the concept of EV2 was presented at the beginning of this year in February, the test vehicles in ready for production have been identified in recent weeks. The last sighting is from the internal market of Kia Korea of the South. Take a look at the details.
Kia EV2 – Styling and features
Based on the design language “OppOSITES United” by Kia, Kia Ev2 has a dynamic mixture of aspuzzate aesthetic and refined urban style. It is expected to be about 4 meters long, Kia Ev2 has a square profile with a slightly inclined roof line. One of the extraordinary features seen with the concept model was a design of the open lamp for LED DRLs.

Due to heavy camouflage, it is difficult to say if the same design for DRL is carried on with the production version. Mild variations could be possible to meet practical and daily needs. Compact but confident, Kia Ev2 makes a bold statement on the road. Making it possible are characteristic such as a vertical front band, a robust bumper, strings of promotions and thick body coverings.
Compared to the concept model, there are some changes to the recently noted test vehicle. For example, the production model can be seen with aerodynamic wheels, compared to the concept that had square -shaped rays. Likewise, the Orvm are larger, dual-tone and have a more practical design than the sharp units seen with the concept.

The dark pillars ensure a sportier aspect. Kia EV2 has smooth body panels in everything and should get wire handles. In the back, you can expect spigolosa lamps vertically stacked and an approximate bumper.
Interiors, equipment
Underpintinned from the E-GMP platform of Hyundai, which allows a flat floor and a long wheelbase, the EV2 kia will offer spacious interiors. While the interiors of the EV2 production model have not been spied on, you can expect a minimalist cabin space without dimensions. Some of the key features may include a complete glass roof, double screens for infotainment and tools and a game -style steering wheel.

Users will be able to access a complete range of technological and connectivity features. There may be a premium audio system, the carbell cabin functionality (CCNC) of car navigation (CCNC), dependent vehicle (V2L) and V2G) and OTA updates. A complete range of level 2 Adas functionality could be available with Kia EV2.
Kia EV2 – Performance, Range
Compared to Kia EV6 and EV9 that use an 800 volt e-gmp architecture, Kia EV2 will use a 400 volt system. This cheaper configuration will also be used with other compact electric cars such as Kia EV3. It supports phosphate lithium battery chemists (LFP) and Nichel Manganese Cobalt (NMC). Two battery pack options are expected, with a maximum range of about 450-500 km.

To obtain a competitive price, Kia Ev2 will receive a single electric motor mounted on the front axle. The global launch is scheduled for February 2026, with Europe one of the key markets. For European markets, Kia Ev2 will be produced at the company’s plant in Slovakia. The launch price in Europe is scheduled for around € 25,000 (RS 24.88 Lakh).
