Underpintinned from the E-GMP platform of Hyundai, which allows a flat floor and a long wheelbase, the EV2 kia will offer spacious interiors. Kia EV2 – Performance, Range

Compared to Kia EV6 and EV9 that use an 800 volt e-gmp architecture, Kia EV2 will use a 400 volt system. This cheaper configuration will also be used with other compact electric cars such as Kia EV3. It supports phosphate lithium battery chemists (LFP) and Nichel Manganese Cobalt (NMC). Two battery pack options are expected, with a maximum range of about 450-500 km.

To obtain a competitive price, Kia Ev2 will receive a single electric motor mounted on the front axle. The global launch is scheduled for February 2026, with Europe one of the key markets. For European markets, Kia Ev2 will be produced at the company’s plant in Slovakia. The launch price in Europe is scheduled for around € 25,000 (RS 24.88 Lakh).
