Josaa Counseling 2025: Josa Counseling Round-2 seat allotment results released, check like this

Josaa counseling is given admission in major engineering institutes across the country – such as IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIS. This year too, millions of students took JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams and are now waiting to get a seat in counseling rounds.

Candidates will have these options

After the result of Round-2, the candidates who have been allotted the seat, will have to complete the seat accelerance fee (SAF) within the scheduled deadline, the document verification and the process of online reporting. Candidates will have two options – ‘freeze’, ‘float’ and ‘slide’.

Freeze means that the candidates will not participate in further counseling by accepting the given seat.

On choosing the option of float, candidates can wait for better institute/branch as per their priority in the next round.

The option of slide will be for better branch in the same college.

Counseling will be five-six rounds

All those candidates whose seat is not allotted in Round-2, they can wait for the next rounds. A total of 5-6 counseling rounds will be conducted by Josaa. Candidates are advised to keep checking the latest updates from time to time on josaa.nic.in. This admission process will be completely online.
