Jee main 2025: Counseling schedule for special and supernumerary rounds through JEE Main 2025 has been announced by the Central Selection Allocation Board (CSAB). Through this counseling process, candidates will get an opportunity to enter B.Tech programs in the National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITS) and other participation institutes.

Special supernumerary rounds have also been kept in this counseling based on the score received in JEE Main 2025. The purpose of these supernumeramsi rounds is to provide opportunities to the candidates of India who belong to the union territories of India – Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Supernumerary seats reserve in these colleges

Students should keep in mind that special seats have been reserved in prestigious institutions like NIT Durgapur, NIT Calicut and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat (SVNIT Surat) through these supernumerary seats. Those candidates will get admission in these seats, who come from the above union territories and who have earned eligibility marks in JEE Main 2025.

This special arrangement is made with the aim of providing opportunities in technical education to students of these areas and increasing representation in national institutions. All eligible candidates should go to the official website of CSAB and check the complete information of supernumery rounds, seat matrix and counseling schedule, so that they can participate in the process of registration and option in time.

  24 August 2025 (5 pm) to 26 August 2025 (5 pm).
• Seat allocation result announcement:
  27 August 2025 (1 pm).
• Documents uploads, SupernuMarerie seat acceptance fee (SSAF) payment and online verification of PWD candidates:
  27 August 2025 (1 pm) to 28 August 2025 (5 pm).
• Last date to answer questions/objections:
  29 August 2025 (5 pm).
• Physical reporting in allotted institutions:
  27 August 2025 to 30 August 2025.

Supernumerary seat acceptance fee (ssaf):

GEN, GEN-GH, OBC-NCL for candidates: ₹ 38,000/-

For SC, ST, PWD candidates: ₹ 18,000/-
