JEE Advanced 2025: IIT BHU has increased 111 seats in its highest demand branches for the academic session 2025-26. The institute has made this change for students to be selected through JEE Advanced 2025.
Where decreased and where the seats increased?
Under this change, a total of 111 seats have been reduced in four departments – Ceramic Engineering, Metalurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology. At the same time, these seats have been extended in nine popular branches like Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Mathematics and Computing. The biggest increase has been in computer science and electronics engineering, where 22-22 seats have been increased respectively. Apart from this, 10 to 14 seats have also been increased in chemical, civil and mechanical engineering.
