The Indian space agency ISRO (ISRO) is ready for a big launch on Wednesday. It will flag off the Proba-3 of the European Space Agency (ESA). ISRO has stated that PSLV-C59/Praba-3 Mission Satellites will be launched on December 4 at 4:06 pm from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. In this work, the help of PSLV-C59 Vikal will be taken, which will fly with about 550 kg satellites. Proba-3 is an in-arbitatic performance mission. Giving information about this, ISRO said in a post on Ex that the PSLVC59/PROBA-3 mission will be the 61st flight of PSLV and the PSLV-XL will have a 26th flight with a conflict, which includes a set to carry satellites.

Flight of two spacecraft together

According to reports, this mission includes two spacecraft. Their names- Coronagraph Spacecraft (CSC) and Aukulter Spacecraft (OSC). They will be launched in ‘stacked configuration’ (one above one).

PSLV is a launch vehicle whose job is to deliver satellites and other payloads to space. Its first successful flight was in the year 1994. The current PSLV-C59 can lift a total capacity of 320 tonnes.

PSLV’s PSLV-C58 Lanch Vikel last brought the Xposat satellite into space. This launch took place on 1 January this year. ISRO also says that the launch on Wednesday is an example of PSLV’s ‘reliable accuracy’ and collaboration with other agencies.

The Proba-3 (Proba-3) is the world’s first preisance flight mission. This will stop the outer and hottest layer of the Sun’s atmosphere, corona. This will be the first time that the Sun can be seen so closely. Through this mission, new discoveries can be made about the Sun.
