ISRO INSAT-3Ds Launched: ISRO has successfully launched the Satellite ISAT-3DS that gives accurate information about the weather. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 5.35 pm today. It has been launched from the GSLV F14 rocket. This is financed by the Mission Ministry of Earth Sciences. Let’s know how important this will do this new seasonal satellite of ISRO. ISRO has succeeded in launching Weather Satellite Insat-3Ds. Its weight has been stated to be 2274 kg. In 19 minutes 13 seconds of the launch, it reached the upper orbit of Geosinkronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) i.e. Earth at an altitude of 37000 km. This satellite will inform many departments under the Ministry of Earth Sciences such as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), the National Medium Weather Forecast Center, the National Section Information Service Center.

The Indian Space Research Center with INSAT-3DS has sent imagers, sounder payload, data relay transponder and satellite aided search and rescue transponder. Through all these, information about fog, cloud, rain, snow, fire, smoke etc. will be available to the concerned departments. The length of the rocket carrying satellite is 51.7 meters. Earlier, ISRO successfully launched the PSLV-C58/expot mission on 1 January. Talking about the launch of INSAT Satellite Series, the INSAT-3DR satellite was launched earlier which was launched on 8 September 2016. ISRO, the satellite of the INSAT series, has created the country’s communication, telecast, meteorology, and search and rescue missions to meet the needs. So far 6 satellites of the series have been launched. Jio stationery satellites started in 1983.
