Narayanan said that before the launch of Gaganyaan, in June this year, an Indian Astronaut will be part of the crew going to the International Space Station (ISS). Recently, the central government approved ISRO for the Chandrayaan-5 mission. This mission can provide important information about the atmosphere and other conditions on the moon. India aims to send a human mission on the moon by 2040. Around 350 kg of rover can be used in Chandrayaan-5 mission. Japan’s cooperation will also be taken in this mission. Earlier ISRO has started preparations for the Chandrayaan-4 mission. In this mission, samples from the moon will be collected and brought to the earth. Last year, the Chandrayaan-4 mission was approved by the government. ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission was successful. Some important information related to the moon was obtained from this mission. The total load of Chandrayaan-4 will be around 9,200 kg. This is more than doubled compared to Chandrayaan-3. Due to its high size, the use of two launch vehicle mark-III (LVM 3) rockets will be necessary.
