India’s first solar mission Aditya L1 is ready for an important phase of its mission. According to the Indian Space Agency ISRO (ISRO), the orbit of this spacecraft will be changed once on Monday and Tuesday night. It has been called the Trans-Lagrangeon Point 1 Inspection (TL1I). As soon as the process is successful, the Aditya Spacecraft will leave the Earth orbit forever and move towards the Sun-Earth Lagrange Point 1 (L1). After that, the trip to 1.5 million kilometers of Aditya Spacekraft will start, which is expected to be completed in 110 days. In a post on the social media platform X, the space agency has said that the process of inspection is to be done at around 2 pm tonight.
Aditya Spacecraft was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on 2 September this month. Since then, the process of changing its class four times has been completed. The TL1I process that is to be performed tonight will begin the beginning of Aditya’s L1 Point journey.

The purpose of the mission is to study the photos of the Sun, chromosfier and corona. It is India’s first space based observant. Once the observator starts its work, this space will also share information related to Weather. Aditya will have a special eye on the events in the Sun such as coronal mass, solar flare.

The L1 point is 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth. Sun can always be monitored from here. When the mission starts its work, ISRO will be able to know solar activities in realtime. Aditya Spacecraft has taken 7 scientific instruments with it. They are all vaikashi and have been prepared by various departments of India. With the help of instruments, different parts of the Sun will be studied.
