Instagram Blend Feature Rollout in India Share Reels With Friends in DMS Heres how to use it

Instagram has introduced a new feature for its users called Blend. With the help of this feature, users will now be able to make a shared Reels feed with their friends, which will show content according to the interest and watch history of both. This feature from Meta is gradually being rolled out worldwide and it has been started in India as well.Instagram’s UnderThis blend feature can be accessed within the direct messages (DM) window of Instagram. That is, users can now create a custom reels feed with a friend or group chat, which is updated every day. Its purpose is to give users a new and personal way to see Reels together and react to it.

To use Instagram Blend, the app must first update. Then go to DMS and open one friend or group chat. There will now be a new “blend” icon (two emojis hugging each other). Invitation can be sent by tapping on it. When the second user accepted it, then a share feed is made for both, in which they can see reels, can react to it and also share it in the message.

Instagram says that this feature will help users to get out of their comfort zone, as this feed mixes the content of both users. The emoji reactions and messages given on Reels will also be seen in the same chat, which will further increase the level of conversation and interaction.

This BLEND feature is right now only for reels, but it is believed that Instagram can also bring it to other content formats in the coming time. Currently, this feature is available on both iOS and Android.
