IIT Delhi: IIT from Delhi BTech, MTECH, do these 5 courses, JEE Advanced not needed

IIT delhi admission 2025: IIT Delhi is one of the top engineering colleges in the country. It is constantly maintaining its top position in rankings. In the latest QS World University Rankings 2025, it jumped 27 rank and secured 123rd at the global level. With this, it has emerged as the number-1 institute of India in the QS rankings.

IIT Delhi is traditionally known for its flagship BTech and MTech program. But it has recently expanded its academic portfolio by launching various short term, certificate, diploma and inter-disciplinary undergraduate course. The purpose of these courses is to bring students out of the scope of traditional degrees and equip the future technology and industry-demand skills. Let’s know about the new types of courses started by IIT Delhi.

1. B.Tech in Design

This is a four -year degree course, which combines creativity with technology. In this, students will be given knowledge of industrial, communication and interaction design. It has been started by the new Department of Design of IIT Delhi. Admission in this is through useed. The fee of this program is equal to normal B.Tech.

2. BS in Chemistry

It is also a four -year undergraduate program, which has basic and advanced education of chemical science, it prepares students for research, pharma and related sectors.

Admission in this course is based on JEE Advanced Score.
