IAS Kundan Kumar News: IAS officer Kundan Kumar innovated in agriculture, education and employment in Banka, for which he received the PM Award. He started Live Class and Super 50 in Purnia.

Jamui: IAS officer Kundan Kumar has been DM of Banka, West Champaran and Purnia before this. He was awarded the PM Award for the work done by him in the direction of innovation in Banka. During his posting in Banka, he did many works in the fields of agriculture, education and employment.

During his posting in Banka, Kundan Kumar started Project Agri Asmita in the Department of Agriculture. Under this, he started cultivating dragon fruit, baby corn, sweet corn, chia, apple and tea in the district on a large scale. The farmers were motivated to cultivate traditional and commercial farming in at least 80:20 ratio.

In order to provide quality education to government school children, he started Purnia Live class in the year 2023 November. Along with this, a day before his transfer, on 31 May, he started Super 50 on the lines of Super 30. In which we will teach children from IITians to IAS.

DM Kundan Kumar, originally from Munger, has received the award twice so far. On the occasion of Civil Services Day, DM Kundan Kumar was honored by Prime Minister Narendra Kumar Modi for outstanding work in the field of public administration. West Champaran was honored for his involvement in the Innovation District category for Start Up Zone Chanpatia.

Nalanda’s new Kundan Kumar has been an IPS of Uttarakhand cadre before becoming IAS. In 2009, he started his work as an IPS. After this he became an IAS in 2012. Earlier, he studied engineering and worked in a big position in Reliance Company for 5 years. Then his posting was in Mumbai. Then he was later selected in the Civil Services Examination.
