Another special feature of NGC 612 is that it is a seyfert galaxy. A type of active galaxies is a type. This means that the matter near the center of the galaxy rotates in a calm manner around its nucleus. There are also many young stars in this galaxy, whose age is between 4 crore and 10 million years. This galaxy also causes radio ejaculation, which makes it a radio galaxy. Scientists have been able to detect 5 such galaxies so far in our universe.
