How to clean hearing aids

You can also use this tool to gently brush the tip of the domes of each headset, where it is more likely that the wax accumulates. 3. The wax guard changes

Under the chatter, you will generally find a small white cylinder known as wax protection, wax filter or wax trap. Its function is exactly as it seems: to prevent the wax from entering the acoustic appliance mechanism and clogging it. In the end, these wax guards will be too carved to clean with a brush, at that point they should be replaced. If your acoustic appliance has a wax guard, it is probably supplied with a kit of replacement guards, invariably contained in a small plastic case of about eight. Open the case and remove one of the plastic tools from the sleeve in a very delicate way. With the edge removed from the acoustic device, insert the naked (black) side of the instrument directly in the protection of the wax, then remove it. This will completely bring out the old wax guard from the acoustic device.

Now turn the instrument on the other side, which will have a white tip. This is your new protection for clean wax, ready for use. Carefully insert the white tip into the hole created by removing the old wax protection, then remove the tool again. He will leave the new wax guard in place. Discard the used tool, replace cars in ears and you are ready to leave.

4. Change the earphones
