This engineering college has been built at a distance of one kilometer from Rajasthan University. Most students come from all over the country to get education here. In a few months, the college will be fully ready and it is expected that the admission process will also start from this session. This college is built on the main road at Jhalana Dungri, which when seen from outside, it looks like a luxurious hotel. Currently, the classes of B.Tech are going on at the Government Khaitan Polytechnic College in Jhalana.

The college will have all the facilities like Physics, Chemistry, Computer, Biomedical and AI modern labs, library, auditorium and hostels, cafeteria. Parking and CCTV cameras have also been arranged. The college has been constructed as a five -storey building. Seats are scheduled according to various categories in government and polytechnic colleges in Jaipur. There will be 60 seats in Computer Science and Engineering for Session 2025-26, 60 seats in Civil and Infrastructure, 60 seats in Biomedical Engineering and 30 seats in Artificial Intelligence for Session 2025-26 at Government Polytechnic College, Jhalana.

Fees less than private institutions
The annual fee for general, OBC and SBC class students in Government Engineering College has been kept at Rs 42,400. While it will be Rs 27,400 for SC, ST and women students. There are more than 20 private engineering colleges in Jaipur including Arya Engineering College, Nims Engineering College, Anand Engineering College, Manipal Engineering College, Swami Vivekananda Engineering College and Purnima University.
