Heavy Rain Alert: Rain will be rained for the next five days, IMD released red alerts for these areas – imd forecasts Heavy Rain Several Parts of Maharashtra for next 5 day weather monsoon latest updates

Heavy Rain Alert: In many states of the country, the weather is rapidly turning. Somewhere rain, some storm and fierce heat can be seen somewhere. In the last few days, heavy rains have been seen in many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. Many districts of Maharashtra are under the grip of heavy rains at this time, while the latest update of the Indian Meteorological Department is also a bit worrisome. The Meteorological Department has issued ‘Red’ and ‘Orange’ alerts for many districts of Maharashtra and feared heavy to very heavy rainfall.

Red alert in these areas

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that from May 24, many areas of Maharashtra may receive rain this week. Yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai for the next 5 days. A red alert has been issued on this day for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts, that is, there is a possibility of heavy rains here. Raigad district will also have an orange alert for the next 5 days. In addition, IMD issued an orange alert in Mumbai on Friday. It was warned that in some areas, strong winds may blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour and there may be heavy to very heavy rainfall. On Friday morning, there was light rain in Mumbai and the sky was cloudy, causing the weather to cool down slightly.

Rainfall rains due to low pressure

A low pressure area is being formed in the East-Central Arabian Sea near the coastal areas of South Konkan and Goa, due to which it is raining. This system is gradually strengthening in the Arabian Sea near the banks of North Karnataka and Goa. The Meteorological Department says that this low pressure area may turn into a depression in the next few days, causing strong and heavy rains in Konkan and other areas of Maharashtra. At present, no cyclone has been formed, but if the weather and sea condition remains favorable, then this depression can also take the form of a cyclonic storm in the coming days.
