Gaurang Das Govardhan is the director of the Eco Village (GEV). It is an innovative and sustainable development and spiritual community. Which is established by ISKCON. It is in the foothills of Sahyadri mountains of Maharashtra, in Wada taluka in Palghar district. It has won the UNWTO Award in 2017 and has gained recognition from institutions like UNEP, ECOSOC.
Leaving corporate career and caught the path of spirituality
Gaurang Das was born in 1971 in a South Indian family in Mumbai. Before adopting the spiritual path, his name used to be ASK Anand. He was schooling from Bhilai and English Medium School in Delhi. He then earned a BTech degree from IIT Bombay in 1993. After BTech, he also worked at Kirloskar Oil Engine Limited in Pune.
