Gaya ji: Engineering students of Bihar have developed a smart attendance system. Everyone is praising it. Let us know that students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Gaya College of Engineering have created a system to automatically and streamline the attendance process in educational institutions using face recognition technology. As soon as students enter the classroom, the camera recognizes their face and records their appearance immediately.
Educational institutions or large corporate houses usually take biometric or manual attendance, which takes time, but with this technique, one click will create the attendance of all people in the room. This project final year students Aditya Prakash, Raunak, Apollo B Kumar and Rahul Kumar have prepared under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajan Sarkar.
At the same time, the system uses advanced machine learning algorithms, causing no problem due to mild changes in the face and it also prevents fraud. Students Aditya Prakash and Apollo B Kumar said that the manual attendance had many flaws. So he developed this technique.
The advantage of this technique is that when a student enters class, his attendance will be uploaded on the website of human intervention. In this whole matter, the Principal of the college, Dr. Rajan Sarkar said that this is an online attendance system, in which all the students will become attendance at one time. At the same time, the students’ database will be connected to the website and they can check attendance on their mobiles. Students who have less than 75% attendance, will also be sent an alert.
This system has a powerful database, which stores the face, timestamp and attendance logs. From the dashboard, teachers can monitor appearance and also export reports. Where students, parents and teachers can see the attendance records through the website and mobile application, which ensures transparency and accessibility.
