CRPF Commandant Raju Wagh is originally from Nashik, Maharashtra. He has surprised everyone by securing 871st rank in UPSC Civil Services. He is currently posted as CRPF Commandant in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Raju Wagh’s UPSC journey started in 2018, when he gave his first interview. Earlier, he also worked in Coal India from 2014 to 2019.
Studying from Navodaya Vidyalaya, NIT
Raju Wagh, who secured 871st rank in UPSC, started his academic journey from Navodaya Vidyalaya. After this, he studied engineering from NIT Nagpur. Raju Wagh prepared along with a job to write his success story. He used to study daily from 4 to 6 am and 2–3 hours in the evening. He was completely immersed in studies on weekends.

He worked hard to pass CRPF Commandant Raju UPSC exam. In this, he has been supported by his wife Purnima Wagh. Purnima Wagh is a Chief Officer. Raju believes that studying with him brought him additional inspiration and help. He first interviewed the UPSC exam in the year 2018. The process of civil service started from here.
