Delhi government: Are you going to conduct a free lab test in Delhi hospital? The Delhi government has changed the listing of documents required to conduct free lab tests. If you are going to get a lab test now, then do not forget to take your Aadhaar because there will be no test without it.

Delhi government changed documents

Under the free lab test scheme of the Delhi government, now the list of necessary documents has been changed. This information is given in the Gazette notification issued on 20 May 2025. Under the scheme, patients are provided with the necessary lab tests in Delhi government hospitals, dispensaries, polyclinic and mohalla clinics. The cost of these tests is not taken from the patient, but payment is made from the funds of the Delhi government.

Now base mandatory

According to the gazette notification, now to take advantage of this scheme, a person will have to show his Aadhaar number or verify with Aadhaar. If no one has Aadhaar, it will be necessary to apply for Aadhaar. In the case of minor children, the process of building the basis will be started with the consent of parents or parents.

Even if a person does not have Aadhaar, he can still take advantage of the scheme but he will have to give some necessary documents.
