Panic due to smoke and blasts
There is an atmosphere of fear among the people due to the blasts. Nearby buildings have also been evacuated to prevent the possibility of any other accident. Due to the fire, black smoke has spread far enough, which is also hindering the relief work.

Incidents of fire increased this year
Incidents of fire in Delhi are continuously increasing. From January to 18 May 2025, the fire department has received more than 7500 calls, which are much higher than last year. So far more than 25 people have lost their lives in these incidents of arson, while the fire party has saved the lives of 281 people.
The highest fire in February
According to the data, 938 fire incidents occurred in January, in which 38 people were safely rescued but 6 died. The figure rose to 1076 in February, where 43 people were rescued and 2 died. Even in March and April, the pace of incidents did not slow down.
Small reasons can also become a big accident in summer
According to fire brigade officials, electric short circuits, ignoring and negligence of flammable substances in summer can cause major fire. People should especially use power equipment carefully during the summer season and do not ignore security measures.
