Deepfake Scam Using George Cloomy Face Cons Woman of Rs 11 Lakh Latest Fraud Details

In a recently revealed incident, Scammers cheated a woman by making a deepfack of Hollywood actor George Clooney. According to reports, this is the case of Argentina where a woman found a video on Facebook in which George Clooney himself was seen talking to her. After this conversation lasted for about six weeks, the woman assured that she was talking to the real Clooney and due to this confidence she transferred huge amount to the scammers.

The entire game was composed through Deepfek Technology. Scammers made a video in which the person appearing exactly looked like George Clooney, in which from facial gestures to his voice was similar to Clooney. DailyMail UK Report According to, it was sent to the woman daily through new videos to strengthen the confidence. No option of video calls or live chats was given, only recorded clips were sent.

The report says that the woman was cheated by about £ 10,000, or about Rs 11.3 lakh. These money were called from different excuses, such as supporting George Clooney foundation, investment or travel arrangements in private projects etc.

This incident has once again raised concerns about social media and AI based fraud. Deepfek technology has become so advanced that it is now difficult for the common man to differentiate between real and fake. Cyber ​​experts say that such frauds may increase even more in the coming times, especially when AI tools are now publicly available and can be used for any purpose.

After this case, the local authorities have started investigation and have advised people to remain alert. Especially on social media, any celebrity, unknown account or dubious messages have been asked to take precautions.
