There are only 29 species of butterflies that are not threatened. Where some species are benefiting on one side, more than this, more is being damaged due to climate change. It is also necessary to talk about the reasons here. The report states that about half of the species of butterflies in the UK depend on some plants that help in their growth. The high brown fritilary here depends on the violet plants that are found on the chopped forests (the forests cut to develop again) and the sunny slopes.
But now due to farming and urbanization, the yield of such plants has reduced greatly so that butterflies do not get the right environment, and food for their development. For this reason, this species of butterfly which was once spread everywhere in the UK is now found on a few sites. Similarly, cold and summer are also affecting the species. Their reproduction process is being affected due to too much winter, and too much heat. Overall, climate change is creating a big challenge for these butterflies.
