CLAT PG 2025, Delhi High Court: The Delhi High Court has given great relief to the students in the case of disturbances in the answer key of CLAT PG 2025. The court has directed the Union of National Law Universities (NLU) to declare the result as soon as possible. In fact, many students had complained of mistakes in the final answer key of CLAT PG 2025, after which three petitions were filed. While hearing these petitions, the court gave this decision.
Court comment on objection fees
The court also questioned the fee of Rs 1,000 on every question to make a mistake in the answer key. The court said that there should be balance between students and institutions. The court found these fees more and wrong than the rest of the institutions. However, the court also admitted that the argument of NLU could be correct that these fees have been kept to stop those who object without any reason or to stop coaching institutes. Nevertheless, the court hoped that in future NLU will consider reducing this fee and will take the right steps.
What did the court suggest?
The court advised that the matter should be placed before the committee headed by Justice G. Raghuram (Retired). Further action should be taken after his advice. The court, after hearing the arguments of students and NLU lawyers, investigated the answers of the answer key to the right and wrong.
What is CLAT and why there was a dispute?
CLAT i.e. Common Law Admission Test is a major examination for admission to law studies (undergraduate and postgraduate course) in the country’s National Law Universities (NLU). 2025 Clat PG Exam was held on 1 December 2024, but after the examination, many questions were filed in the country, stating that many questions were filed in the country.
Supreme Court sent Delhi High Court
On 6 February 2025, the Supreme Court transferred all these petitions to the Delhi High Court. The Supreme Court said that the hearing in the same court would be clear and uniformly decided. This order was given on the transfer petitions of NLU’s union. Now the students hope that the result will come soon and their hard work will get the correct result.
