Chandrayaan-4 to be launched by isro, Government Approves New Moon Mission

After the successful mission of Chandrayaan 3 last year, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) received approval from the Central Government on Wednesday for Chandrayaan-4. The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cleared the new moon mission. This mission will assess the technical capabilities required for the landing of an Indian on the moon and a safe return to the earth. Prime Minister Modi said in a post on social media platform X that Chandrayaan-4 has been approved by the Union Cabinet. He said, “This mission will increase India’s self -sufficiency in space technology and will promote innovation.” In this mission, samples from the moon will be collected and analyzed. Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that after the success of Chandrayaan 3, the next step is to send a human mission on the moon. Approval has been given for its preparation.

Recently, ISRO had reported that Chandrayaan-4 weighing capacity could be more than the most powerful rocket near ISRO. Because of this, there is a preparation to launch the mission in two parts. This will be the world’s first such space mission to be launched in two parts and the spacecraft will be added to the space. If this mission is successful then there will be a big success for ISRO. The purpose of this mission is to come back with a sample from the moon. Three countries of the world- America, Russia and China have been able to bring samples from the moon.

Last year, the US Space Agency NASA said that the US is ready to help India make its space station. The US and India plan to send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by the end of the next year. Along with this, the ISRO is considering the possibility of using NASA’s Hyperviolaosity Impact Test (HVIT) for testing the module micromatyoroid and orbital deburries protection shields of Gaganyaan Mission. There is a lot of preparation for the Gaganyaan Mission. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked ISRO to target the creation of Indian space stations by 2035 and landing Astronauts on the moon by 2040.
