Chandrayaan-3 launch to make India fourth count to land spacecraft on moon

The Moon Mission Chandrayaan-3 of the country is to be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh this week. With this, India will become the fourth country to land its spacecraft on the surface of the moon. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has almost completed the preparation for the launch of Chandrayaan-3. Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh said that some agreements related to space have been made during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US last month. He said that to go on the moon Campaign India cannot lag behind. Singh said that the goal of Chandrayaan-3 is to showcase the country’s ability to landing and Roving on the surface of the moon. In a press release issued by the ministry, Singh said, “Rover will come out after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of the moon and it is expected to work on its moon for 14 days. Many cameras can be taken images on this rover.”

Earlier, ISRO director, S Somanath had said that Chandrayaan-3 will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on 14 July. He had said, “If everything goes well then Chandrayaan will land on August 23. The date has been decided on the basis of sunrise on the moon. However, if it is delayed, the landing will have to be kept in September.”

The country’s second mission Chandrayaan-2 was launched on the moon about four years ago. However, this mission had failed due to Vikram Lunar Lander’s crash on the moon. ISRO has decided not to hurry in the Gaganyaan project. It is a mission with travelers in space. This mission has been designed in such a way that it will be able to achieve success only in the first attempt. For this, testing and demonostration have been increased.
