The number of cyber crime has increased rapidly over the years. Investigation agencies are trying to curb this. In this episode, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has caught a gang of cyber crime. The gang used to target people in the US and some other countries with a fake identity of government officials and tech support executives. A CBI spokesperson said that the accused in the case Rahul Arora has been arrested and arrested at some places. Cryptocurrency worth about Rs 2.8 crore and cash worth about Rs 22 lakh have been seized from this accused. The CBI has launched a ‘CHAKRA-V’ campaign against cyber criminals. The CBI had registered a case after receiving information about cheating people in the US and some other countries, calling for a fake identity of representatives of government officials and representatives of prestigious tech support companies. The raids were conducted on their hideouts after monitoring the activities of the members of this gang.

These raids found evidence about gang activities. These included tools and other evidence for international calls with identity hiding caller identity. The CBI has developed its ability to track and seize virtual digital assets (VDA) for the fight against cyber crime.

Crypto Exchange Bitget has reported in its anti-scam report that the International Crypto scams have lost about $ 4.6 billion (about Rs 39,364 crore) last year. This report states that the methods of fraud of scammers are also changing and they are also using deepfec technology along with social engineering scams. Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen reported that AI has made the scams faster, cheap and even more difficult to catch. For example, scammers are cheating investors using AI-generated fake stacking offers and fishing bots. This report gives information about some cases related to Deepfek videos, which promoted the forged schemes of the investment by posting deep -sides on the internet of public celebrities like Billionaire Elon Musk and Prime Minister of Singapore. <!–
