Students with Hindi medium preparing for NEET UG do not need to panic from the medical entrance examination. Like English medium students, Hindi medium with full confidence NEET exam can give. How to prepare for Hindi medium students NEET UG?
NEET UG question papers are available in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Punjabi, Oriya and Urdu. Students of Hindi Medium can choose a question paper in Hindi, in which all questions (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) will be in Hindi. It is easy for students of Hindi medium to understand and answer the question paper in Hindi, especially in biology questions.
Eligibility: In 12th, at least 50% marks (general class) or 40% (SC/ST/OBC) are needed with physics, chemistry and biology. The minimum age has been fixed at 17 years.

Understand NEET UG Syllabus and pattern
Before preparing NEET UG 2025, understand its syllabus and exam pattern well. This makes it easier to prepare for the exam. NEET UG syllabus is based on NCERT’s 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and Biology books. You can download NCERT books from Hindi medium students ncert.nic.in. There is a provision of negative marking of 1 digit for every wrong answer. Therefore caution is important.
NCERT focus on books
Read the 11th and 12th books of NCERT in Hindi for NEET’s biology section. These are the basis of 80-90% questions of NEET. Also understand every line of NCERT for physics and chemistry, especially examples and tables.

Hindi study material will be found
Books: Arihant or MTG’s Hindi Medium Net Guides (eg “Neet Objective Physics in Hindi”), Dr. Ali’s “Objective Biology” in Hindi.
online resources: Watch the videos of YouTube channels such as Vedantu Neet Hindi, Unacademy NEET Hindi and Khan GS Research Center (Khan Sir).
Increase focus on physics and chemistry
Students of Hindi medium may have difficulty in understanding the technical words related to physics and chemistry (eg ‘Velocity’ or ‘Moller Mass’). Make notes in simple Hindi language along with NCERT. Do numerical practice in Physics (‘Concepts of Physics’ of HC Verma is available in Hindi). Take organic and inorganic reactions and formulas in chemistry.
Make mock test and previous papers make guides
Give mock test in Hindi (Hindi test available on NTA’s website neet.nta.nic.in).
Last 5-year-old NEET Papers (2019-2025) solve in Hindi. This will make sense of the pattern of questions.
Tip: Give 1-2 Test Neet Mock Test daily and analyze the mistakes.
Learn the important terms of English
Some technical words in NEET remain in English only (eg “mitochondria” or “enthalpy”). Make small flashcards for them and rote 10-15 words daily. Compare the terms of NCERT’s English books.
Confidence will increase with good health
Exercise 30 minutes daily to avoid stress and sleep 7-8 hours. Be positive and revise regularly. Make small goals, such as completing 1 chapter every week.
