BPS 71th Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission has increased vacancy in integrated 71st joint competition examination. Along with this, the date of prelims has also changed.

BPS 71th Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has increased the vacancy of integrated 71st joint competition examination. Now 1264 posts will be recruited instead of 1250. In this vacancy, 14 vacancies of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) have been added. Online application for the 71st Joint Competition Preliminary Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission can be made till June 30. The Commission has also changed the date of preliminary examination. Now it will be on the 71st PT 13 September 2025. Earlier it was to be held on 30 August.
Educational qualification and age limit
Candidates should have graduated for the 71st examination of BPSC. Additional qualification has been sought for some posts. See the notification for that. The minimum age limit for this recruitment is 20 years and maximum 37 years. The maximum age limit for BC and EBC is 40 years. At the same time, the maximum age limit for SC and ST is 42 years.
Application fee
The application fee for general category is Rs 600 and SC-ST/Rs 150 for women and disabled candidates.
