Exam dates
The first date of constable recruitment examination has been fixed July 16. After this, the exam will be taken on July 20, 23 July, July 27, July 30 and the final phase examination on 3 August 2025. The examination will be held at 627 examination centers set up in 38 districts of the state.
Number of applications and candidates
Significantly, the advertisement for this recruitment was released on 11 March 2025. The online application process started from 18 March 2025 and lasted till 25 April 2025. During this period, more than 17 lakh candidates had applied, out of which about 33,000 applications were canceled. Now 16,73,586 candidates will appear in the written examination.
On an average, 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh candidates will appear on each exam date. All preparations for this exam have been completed and each candidate will be issued admit card on time.
Strict monitoring and security arrangements in the exam
The Chairman of the Central Selection Board and the Director General of Police (ADG) Jitendra Kumar told in the press conference that the examination will be conducted with complete transparency and fairness. He said that even before this, many examinations have been conducted, in which no incident like paper leak happened. This time too, the exam will be conducted with this vigilance and seriousness.
ADG Jitendra Kumar informed that all the District Magistrates have been instructed to conduct the examination. Also, social media is constantly being monitored from the level of cyber police station and economic crime branch. Strict action will be taken on suspicious activities.
Special arrangement of jammer and CCTV
He informed that jammers will be installed at the examination centers, which will also be able to block 5G and Wi-Fi signals. Apart from this, CCTV cameras will be monitored at all examination centers and important places.
Prior to the examination, hostels, lodges, coaching centers and such places will also be raided and monitored by the local police, where a crowd of candidates is likely to gather.
