Enter: the pad on foot. These small treadmills adapt under the standing desks and allow you to accumulate steps while you work. It might seem unlikely, but yes, you can train and be productive on your computer at the same time. In fact, I am convinced that these things make me in reality more efficient. They keep my energy increasing and I am more blocked. Working from home is exponentially better with my small office hamster wheel.
There are tons of walking bearings on the market, with variable speed features, extra features such as integrated desk platforms and durability. We tested those below to help you restrict your search to the best of the best. Are you trying to get more fit in 2025? Do not forget to take a look at our choices for the best treadmills, the best fitness trackers and the best running shoes.
Added August 2025: we added Urevo Cyberpad, the 3-in-1 Lifesmart treadmill and the automatic flexispot treadmill.
Better overall
Most of the bearings on foot generally feel the same way and have the same skills. Not the cyberpad urevo (9/10, Wired advises). It offers a slope of 14 percent, the highest I saw on a pad on foot. With the ability to face steep walks, I felt like I could actually have a serious sweat without sacrificing my attention at work, unlike when I try to push the pace, which makes it more difficult to write.
It was easy to configure and ready for use immediately out of the box (a great victory in my book: they do not dream of the fitness equipment assembly). It is a little heavier than some other options in this list, so move it is not that easy, but there are wheels that help. The speed is at the top of 4 mph and the inclination stops at level nine, which can be an inclination of 9 or 14 %, depending on how the feet of the machine is positioned. (As I said, the inclination of 14 percent makes it really stand out.)
The cyberpad has a bluetooth remote control e app which are easy to connect to the machine and allow you to control it. The app also offers training, if you practically want to walk in some nice scenarios. As long as you open the app at some point during your walk, it will record the training data from the car, so that you can keep track of the daily counts over time. You can also view your current training metrics on a screen at the front of the machine.
With a solid feeling under the feet and the comfortable belt, I am confident in the duration of this pad. One thing to note: the capacity of inclination makes it higher and more difficult to preserve. He also enjoys Sidelil lights (think of Car Underglow). You can turn them on in the app and set the color and the motifs on everything that inspires you to climb and walk. They are the little things!
Best Folding Foot Pad
This is a much longer and heavier foot pad; They are 57 inches (32.5 inches when they are folded), which means that it is a good choice for higher people or for anyone who has a long step forward. The deck feels good, even if not as elastic or padded as Sperax. This machine was a bit of a pain to configure. Get the remote and the Bluetooth app (called KS FIT) to connect with the pad it was a struggle, initially. Also, I didn’t like it when you start using the car you have to spend time walking at slower speeds before you can “unlock” the top end of the range.
However, I like the level of control and the tracking skills of this device more than Sperax. You can adjust the speed via the remote control or app and you can use the pad without the app. You can check your time, speed, distance, calories and steps on the large display. The app is a little shaky: if you do not start a training with the app, your progress will not be traced or registered and do not synchronize later. Also save each walk session separately, so if you take a break, start from scratch, but you can see your daily steps on KS in shape if you do some excavation (i.e. if you are using it with the app).
