The series of watches 10 (8/10, Wired advises), together with the 9 Series and Clock Ultra 2, has finally obtained the detection of oxygen in the blood in August 2025 through a software update, after a prolonged suspension of sales due to a case of patent transmission. The function was redesigned to circumvent the patent. To see your oxygen in the blood, update the iPhone combined with iOS 18.6.1 and the Apple Watch with Watchos 11.6.1. You will see the sensor data in the respiratory section of the Health app, rather than on the clock itself.
It is a bit annoying, but with new health updates in Watchos 11 and Watchos 26, you will probably check the Health app most frequently. This is now the best Apple Watch, without warnings. The characteristic of extraordinary health, breathing disorders, uses the accelerometer of the 10 series to warn you if you have nocturnal apnea, which otherwise requires a disruptive sleep test to diagnose. It is the perfect health feature to be monitored with a wearable that you constantly wear.
There are also a lot of hardware and software updates. It is thinner and lighter, so it is more comfortable to wear during sleep and has a quick recharge, so that it can trace more than your activities during the day. I discovered that I was able to recharge it quite easily with 20-30 minutes on a fast charger while I was in the shower every morning. It also has a lot of new features focused on water sports, including the water temperature, which is quite vital where I live, since many people are incapacitated Water too cold. This is now the best Apple Watch, without warnings.
