She had left for London for an important work of her office, but who knew this flight would become the last flight of her life. Air India flight became a victim of AI-171 accident in a few minutes as soon as she flew from Ahmedabad. The plane collided with a hostel in Meghani Nagar area and the mess of a medical college. There were 242 people in the ship and only one of them survived.

Payal was originally from Rajasthan, but lived with the family in Himmatnagar (Gujarat). His father Sureshbhai Khatik used to feed the family by running a loading rickshaw. Despite the crisis, he did not let any shortage in the daughter’s education. Payal was fast in studies. Two years ago, he got a job in a private company. Was hardworking, responsible and that is why the company chose her for London work.
