The district badminton tournament is the gold medalist three times and a silver medalist 2 times. The state became a silver medalist three times in the badminton tournament. Also played the main draw in the National Ranking Badminton Tournament held in Ranchi. Participated in the camp in Patna Pataliputra Sports Complex, he has received State Awards from Shri Gopichand.

Since both parents have lived here, Iyan has grown up in Madhubani Medical College here. Used to practice in Madhubani for the last 3 years. Now since they are preparing to play national after playing the state, they go to Delhi for practice.
