AFCAT-2 2025: Eligibility for Air Force AFCAT
There are different qualifications for flying branch and ground duty branch (technical and non-technical) in recruitment through AFCAT in Indian Air Force. Which is as follows-
Flying branch- The 12th (PCM) should pass with 50 per cent marks to go to the Air Force Flying Branch. Also, BE/BTech should also be passed with at least 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical Branch)-The 12th must be passed with 12th Physics and Mathematics to visit this branch of the Air Force. Also, it is necessary to have graduation in engineering or technology with at least 60 percent marks.
Ground Duty (Non Technical Branch)- Candidates should pass BA/BCom/MBA with at least 60% marks.
Metarology Branch- For this, Physics and Mathematics are mandatory in 12th. Also metarology/physics/meteorology/atmospheric science/geophysics/geophysics/Marine Science/Environmental Science/Applied Physics in M.Sc. Degree with minimum 50% marks.
Age limit
The age for the flying branch should be between 20 and 24 years. While the age limit for ground duty branch is 20 to 26 years.
Application fees
The application fee for Indian Airforce AFCAT-2 2025 is 550+ GST. No application fees will have to be paid for NCC entry.
