The Indian Space Agency ISRO (ISRO) launched the ‘Aditya El 1’ spacecraft under the country’s first Sun Mission on 2 September through Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) -C57 from Sriharikota Space Center in Andhra Pradesh.
‘Aditya El1’ has taken seven payloads with him. Of these, 4 payloads will inspect the sunlight and the remaining 3 payloads will understand its plasma and magnetic field. Every day thousands of pictures will be sent to the command center of ISRO, where the team of scientists will analyze them and an alert can be issued in any emergency.
The process of activities continuing in the Sun is expected to continue till 2025. During this time incidents like solar flair, coronal mass ejection will continue. They also affect the earth. A powerful solar flare can cause a global radio blackout on the earth. Can damage our satellites.
