Where to see the launch online of Aditya L1 Mission?

Like the Chandrayaan-3 mission, the Aditya L1 mission can also be seen live telecast online. Its live telecast will be shown on ISRO’s official YouTube channel, website and Facebook page. You can see the live launch by clicking on this link. This is India’s first solar mission. Under the mission, a spacecraft will be sent to observe the sun’s corona (the outer layer of the sun). Spacecraft will monitor the Sun on L1 points (Sun-Earth Lagrange point), about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.

Aditya L1 Mission will be launched via PSLV-C57 rocket. The spacecraft will take 7 payload with it, which will help in observing photosfare (light mandal) in individual wave bands, chromosfare (the sun’s visible surface) and the outer layer (corona) of the sun.

The Aditya-L1 mission is completely indigenous. Many national institutions have participation in preparing it. Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) has prepared the visible emission line coronagraph (VELC) payload, while the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune has prepared the Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) Pelode for this Mission.
