The tote of the LL Bean field is all grit and without gimmicks: a thick polyester shell, with double layer, double -point corpulent stitching and handles that seem industrial. Inside, a thermoplastic coating shakes the shoulders of humidity, mud and mystery with ease of cleaning. It is not completely proof of losses, but it is close, and this makes it perfect for the transport of humid towels, boots with snow crust or a post-training fit.
It is a single cavernous compartment, without fussy pockets. There is an open-top version, but we love the zip-top model for travel. The cablate director Michael Calore tested the 53-liter extra-large version and is quite huge for a week of products, a pair of half-gallon cartons of oat milk and a 12 kombucha package if you are also planning to shop of food during your holidays.
