Other folding phones to consider
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 for $ 1,100: Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip7 (7/10, Wired Tips) is a second close to Razr Ultra of Motorola. I liked the quality of the camera from the Motorola Flip phone this year more than Samsung, a great victory for the Razr – but the flip7 captures beautiful photos and offers better video quality, if this is your thing. Samsung’s latest flip has a larger front screen, although you still have to jump through some circles to make it useful. For example, you need to install an app called multistar to add any app of your choice in the cover screen. The phone also has a low brilliant battery life, struggling to last a whole day; Razr Ultra lasts only one day, but I don’t feel like I had to connect a lot. And it also becomes a little too hot for my taste when it is under load. He is a good phone at the head, but I prefer the flagship of Motorola this year.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold for $ 1,700: The only reason to consider the Pixel 9 Pro Fold at the moment is if you see it for sale. Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold is around the corner and you are better waiting to see what’s new. Having said that, we saw the dive of Pixel 9 Pro Fold at $ 1.499 during the main sales events, and this is a rather exceptional price for what you get. It may not be as thin as the new Galaxy Z Fold7 or light, but it is still a slender device with a big front screen that looks like a normal phone. The 8 -inch internal screen is excellent and the triple camera system offers great results, even if not AS Excellent like the Pixel 9 Pro series. Read our best guide for Pixel phones for more information.
Motorola Razr+ (2025) for $ 1,000: There is technically a third phone in the last Razr range of Motorola: the Razr+ 2025. However, it is almost identical to the Razr+ 2024 last year, with fresh colors and the improved IP48 evaluation and the reinforced titanium zipper. However, it is found in an embarrassing way. It is not as accessible as the Razr standard, which offers a rather beautiful experience for money. But even it is not even AS Flagships like Razr Ultra. It is also the only one of the training without the Ultrawide camera. I usually love lenses zoom telephoto lenses, but ultrawides are so useful on mobile sheets for group selfies. If you are considering this model, it also applies Considering the Razr+ since 2024As you will see some beautiful discounts throughout the year; Only the reinforced zipper and the IP48 evaluation is missing.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 for $ 1,345: The Galaxy Fold6 (7/10, Wired Tips) is the Samsung’s folding folding phone and came out in 2024. In this version, Samsung has added a wider front screen that looks like a normal smartphone, even if not wide as Galaxy Z Fold7. I do not find multitasking easy as on phones such as OnePlus Open and the waiting relationship still limits some apps from showing a multi-thin view, such as Gmail, unless you rotate the phone on the landscape. It may not be so easy to discover now that it has a successor, but if you find it on sale for less than $ 1,400, it is worth considering, especially because Samsung offers long software support.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 For $ 900: Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 (7/10, Wired Tips) than 2024 could be a better purchase than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip7, the new “Budget” flip phone that the company has introduced together with the flagship flip7 and fold7. This is because Flip7 FE is a Flip6 in report with a Samsung Exynos processor instead of a Qualcomm chip. We have not yet tested the FE, but you can probably find a decent deal on the flip6 which could make it a better value than the FIP7 FE. Performance could also be a better flash.
OPPO Find N5 Flip for $ 1,277: You can think of this as the spiritual successor of OnePlus Open. (Both companies are owned by BBK Electronics.) Unfortunately, it is not available in the United States, in the United Kingdom or in Europe. It is the thinnest book in the folding world only 3.6 millimeters thick when opened. The displays are excellent, it has high-end specifications such as the Elite Snapdragon 8 processor in its heart, not to mention the 80 watts wired charging for quick top-ups. The cameras are not the same exceptional, and the OPPO software is still clumsy and buggy.
Xiaomi Mix Flip for $ 899: Xiaomi’s first Flip phone has an adorable design with excellent display inside and outside, a long battery life with quick charging and peak performance, which makes a nice change since Flip phones often have mediocre specifications. It also boasts a solid double lens camera, opting for telephoto lens instead of ultrawide next to the main correspondent shooter, which is more useful for most people. The software reduces the party a little; There is no IP evaluation, and it’s very expensive, but I had fun with this Flip phone. –Simon Hill
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 for $ 1,399: Launched only in China like its predecessors, Xiaomi has promised a wider release for the Fold 4 mix at a certain point (even if not in the United States). It is not much more often than Honor Magic V3 above, and the fold of the screen is more pronounced when you open it. The performance and battery life are impeccable and supports wired and wireless charging. There is also a versatile camera developed camera. But it doesn’t look like a huge update compared to Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 last year. –Simon Hill

Nubia Flip 5g for $ 499 (£ 500): This foldable on low heat has an elegant circular screen on the front. The Nubia Flip 5G (6/10 Wired Review) is the most convenient foldable we have seen, outside the discounts for other models. Unfortunately, the front screen is not very practical, and this is a decidedly medium artist with limited processing power and battery life. The software is also dated and we have concerns about Nubia’s updating policy. It may also not work on all US carriers. But for people eager to try a folding with a limited budget, the 5G flip is a way to do it. –Simon Hill
