They are light but surprisingly hot and particularly good at blocking the wind. The recycled G-1000 Lite Electatching fabric gives you a beautiful and elastic freedom of movement and having already had Lyme’s disease, the ability to tighten the cuffs and keep out things is invaluable. (I also put a lot of repellent on the fabric without coloring or other damage.) I also like that the G-1000 can be led to renovate the waterway (even if I have not yet had to do it).
If you want to follow the shorts of shorts, try these Kuhl Silecr Kargo Shorts ($ 79). They are “invisible” loading shorts as they have many pockets, but they don’t seem. There is no need to bring dad back to the rocker grunge of the 90s that is once not necessary. -Cott Gilbertson
