IPS Story: UPSC Civil Service Examinations become IPS Officers. After this, it has been seen many times that many officers resign from their jobs for some reason. Similarly, Rachita Juyal, an IPS officer of 2015 batch of Uttarakhand cadre and currently as SP Vigilance, has resigned from the service citing personal reasons. However, the state government has not yet formally approved his resignation.
According to sources, Rachita sent his resignation to the Chief Secretary’s Office a few days ago, a copy has also been submitted to the Director General of Police. In the resignation, he has mentioned personal reasons behind his decision.
Police are connected to family, cracked UPSC in first attempt
Rachita Juyal is the 2015 batch IPS officer of Uttarakhand cadre. She comes from a strong police family. His father B.D. Juyal has been an inspector in CB-CID, while Dada J.P. Juyal was also in police service. He did his BBA after studying inter from Carman School and passed the UPSC exam in the first attempt. He was selected in UPSC with 215th rank.
Resignation increased after action in vigilance
During the tenure as SP Vigilance, Rachita Juyal arrested a sub -inspector in a corruption case. This arrest was of an officer working as ISBT outpost incharge, who created a stir in the police department. In such a situation, his sudden resignation is also being linked to the transfer of ASP Mithilesh Kumar.
Marriage to filmmaker Yashasvi Juyal, Raghav Juyal is brother -in -law
Rachita is married to film director Yashasvi Juyal, who is the younger brother of dancer-actor Raghav Juyal. Yashasvi’s films have been released on many prestigious forums including the New York Film Festival. At the same time, Raghav has recognized as a strong actor in dance reality shows and recently released in 2023 film Kill.
