After the Thunderbird 500, Super Meteor 650 was the first attempt by Royal Enfield to a long -distance scorcatore motorcycle at a low distance. He has seen a great success as he contains new age components, while offering a retro charm with which the brand is synonymous. Now, there is a new Super Meteor 650 test spied abroad that could bring new features. Let’s take a closer look.
2026 Re Super Meteor 650 Spy
With the launch of 650 platform, Royal Enfield has firmly held the 500 cc+ motorcycle segment in its iron fist with an almost constant market share of 90%. While 650 twins (Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650) constitute the piece of sales at 650 cc for Royal Enfield, not even the sales of Super Meteor 650 are not bad.

To increase sales and give this bike a complete update, Royal Enfield seems to work on an updated model. This new Super Meteor 650 could be launched in 2026 and it is expected that a complete range of updates will pack to maintain this wealthy and attractive motorcycle for the demographic targeting.
As seen in the new espionage shots from abroad, the 2026 Re Super Meteor 650 seems to keep its design and charm intact. We can see the same wheels, the fuel tank, the side body panels, the seats and other components of the current model. So much so that Royal Enfield did not even take the briga of camouflaging him to hide his identity. How to hide in plain sight.

We can see some test equipment related to its sub -iteor, replacing its canions seat. The company is likely to record data for further analyzes, suggesting that there may be a re-syntonization of its 650 cc engine. Currently, this 650 cc engine develops 46.3 hp of peak power at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm.
A particular update could considerably increase the new appeal of Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is the addition of Tripper Dash which obtains Google Maps support and music control. This would completely transform the user’s experience and is more suitable for a long distance cruiser than the small triplication screen offered with the current model.

Is it 750cc?
Looking at a new test mule of a 2026 Re Super Meteor 650, one might wonder if it is a super meteor 750 in testing. However, this is highly unlikely as this particular test mule has panels of the specific body that reads clearly Super Meteor 650.
In addition, it is expected that the next 750 cc training of Royal Enfield will arrive with a double disco brake configuration seen with Interceptor 750, Continental GT 750 and Himalayan 750 Test Mules. This double disk configuration is absent in the test mule Re Super Meteor 650 2026.
